The PoolFinder product identifies the presence and location of swimming pools. Using newer Pictometry imagery, pools are marked with a point and classified as “in-ground” “above ground” or “undetermined.” PoolFinder is a supplemental product and available only in combination with and for the same coverage area as a Change Detection or a Change Detection and Building Outline product. The initial published data is accurate as to the fly of April 2018. Pool Points are continually updated by the Town of East Hampton from that point forward, so as to reflect the most recent changes.When visible, the following types of features measuring at least 150 sq. feet (14 sq. meters) and at least five pixels wide (based on 12” (30 cm) or better GSD imagery) are included:• Permanent swimming pools• Semi-permanent swimming poolsSpecifications are based on 12-inch (30 cm) or better ground sample distance Pictometry-acquired imagery.Product Accuracy Rate• Error rate: ratio of missed pools ≤ 1.0%Initial data delivery June 2018 consisted of:Total number of Pools 8967Above Ground 221 (2.46%)In Ground 8543 (95.27%) Undetermined 203 (2.27%) |
